3M™ High Routability Internal MiniSAS HD Cable Assembly, Shortened Connector, 8U Series is a high-speed data transmission cable that is excellent for high-speed data transfer in space-constrained areas. Part of the 8U Series of 3M cable assemblies, the assembly features a shortened 18 mm connector and a lower profile for efficient integration in space-constrained environments. The assembly features flat cable that can be folded into custom designs for more capability in small spaces. Continuously laminated shielding provides excellent signal integrity and data transfer even when the cable is folded. The cable assembly meets SATA 2.1 protocols.
Featuring a low profile and a shortened 18 mm connector, 3M™ High Routability Internal MiniSAS HD Cable Assembly, Shortened Connector, 8U Series is excellent for external storage applications such as servers, storage arrays and switches. It features 3M™ Twin Axial Cable technology. Flat cable is extremely flexible and can be folded back on itself with extremely tight bend radii for compact designs. Precision-formed, continuously laminated shielding helps maintain resonance-free signal integrity.
