3M™ Automotive Attachment Tape 06381, White, 1.52 mm is an automotive trim attachment tape that combines features for versatility in attaching a broad range of automotive trim and parts. The 1.52 mm closed-cell acrylic foam core on this OEM-approved attachment tape delivers strength, conformability and excellent stress relaxation. A high-performance acrylic adhesive is applied to both sides, resists plasticizers and delivers high peel and shear adhesion.
Featuring a medium-density closed-cell acrylic foam core, 3M™ Automotive Attachment Tape 06381 provides a blend of strength and conformability great for permanent attachment of automotive components including cladding, bumper trim and rocker panel moldings to traditional automotive paint systems. At 1.52 mm thick, it features viscoelastic properties that allow it to elongate and relax when put under load, minimizing stress on the adhesive bond line and maintaining a permanent, reliable bond. A durable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to both sides of the foam core, and delivers high peel performance and shear strength as well as resistance to plasticizers. The 7/8 in. tape width makes it great for applying a range of wider components. A red, 3M-branded liner provides easy one-piece release for efficient application.
