Medium Firm Adhesive Offers Strong Initial Adhesion 3M™ X-Series Hi Performance Transfer Tape XP2112 is a 5 mil adhesive transfer tape on a 55# densified kraft paper liner. This tape can withstand temperatures as high as 350°F/177°C short term and 200°F/93°C long term. With strong initial adhesion, 3M™ X-Series Hi Performance Transfer Tape XP2112 bonds to many coated papers, chip board and corrugate, foam board, smooth and lightly textured plastics and films. The tape consists of an adhesive layer only, and does not have any type of supporting carrier such as film, paper or tissue. For application the tape is positioned adhesive side down to a surface and the liner is removed, exposing the backside adhesive to the joining surface.
