3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Resin 281 Part A (36 lb - 5 Gallon Pail)

This is a two-part, semi-flexible, filled, epoxy liquid resin. There filled versions of 280 offer many of the key features of 280 plus lower shrinkage , improved thermal and mechanical shock resistance and high thermal conductivity.

3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Resin 281 is characterized by high temperature and electrical stability and excellent retention of flexibility even after prolonged heat aging. It can be cured at low temperatures, but the optimum properties are obtained with the higher temperature cure schedules. Applications include impregnation and encapsulation of coils, transformers, motors and other electrical and electronic components.
