3M™ 5461 Series Molded Rubber QS-II Cable Splice Kit is a 35 kV-class inline splice designed to join JCN and CN distribution class power cables with aluminum or copper conductors. It ensures reliability when each splice is production-tested on CN cable.

3M™ 5461 Series Molded Rubber QS-II Cable Splice Kit includes 1 porta-pencil, 1 molded rubber-splice body, 2 packets of silicone grease, 1 template and 1 instruction sheet. The splice body included in this kit is made of specially formulated, peroxide-cured EPDM rubber to provide long-term sealing. The computer-aided design provides a compact size and optimal distribution of the electrical field. The splice provides accurate inspection of installation by the visual reference of splice positioning. This kit is perfect for inline splicing, direct-burial installations, aerial installations and submerged locations. ANSI Certified and IEEE Approved.
