3M™ Polyester Film Electrical Tape 56 is a moisture resistant, electrical tape. This tape is suitable for insulating applications that require high dielectric strength. This tape is 600V rated and withstands a temperature range of 32 to 266 °F (0 to 130 °C).
3M™ 56 Polyester Film Electrical Tape is a 1-mil conformable polyester film tape with excellent chemical, solvent and moisture resistance that resists cut-through and abrasion. It is specified for insulating applications requiring a thin, durable tape with high dielectric strength, such as for wrapping coils and capacitors and holding applications. Rated for use up to 130 degrees C (266 degrees F), it withstands higher temperature conditions than tapes with acetate film backing.
