3M™ TufQUIN 110 and 120 Inorganic Hybrid Insulating Papers are hybrid inorganic-organic papers for high-temperature electrical insulation applications up to Class 200(N).

3M™ TufQUIN 110 and 120 Inorganic Hybrid Insulating Papers are hybrid inorganic-organic papers for high-temperature electrical insulating applications. Qualified for use in electrical insulation systems up to Class 200(N) per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085; CSA Component Acceptance at 200°C. Applications include ground and layer insulation in dry-type transformers, as well as interwinding insulation in strip-wound coils and wire-wrap for bare conductors. TufQUIN papers are flexible, conformable papers with high tensile strength, excellent tear resistance, and low moisture absorption. The inorganic content in TufQUIN papers results in high thermal conductivity, long-term voltage endurance, and resistance to partial discharge (corona) that helps TufQUIN products withstand damage from voltage spikes. TufQUIN papers are compatible with commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins, and are easily impregnated, further enhancing thermal conductivity and coil bonding characteristics. 3M™ Innovative Paper Technologies UL Recognized Insulation Systems (File No. 65007) may be found on UL’s Electrical Insulation Systems Database at http://www.ul.com/eis/ .
