It is perfect for dry-type transformers, strip-wound coils, core tubes and electromagnet coils. It provides low-moisture absorption, even under high-humidity conditions and improves dimensional stability. It is suitable for Class 220® electrical insulation systems.
3M™ ThermaVolt Calendered Inorganic Insulating Paper features long-term voltage endurance that resists partial discharge or corona attack, which leads to premature failure. This paper is compatible with most commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins. It is suitable for major ground insulation, core and outer wrap, turn insulation, interwinding insulation and minor layer insulation applications. UL Listed, CSA/IEC Certified, REACH Compliant and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant .
