3M™ CeQUIN 3000 Inorganic Insulating Paper is an inorganic-based paper for high-temperature electrical insulation applications up to Class 220®.
3M™ CeQUIN 3000 Inorganic Insulating Paper is an inorganic-based paper for high-temperature electrical insulating applications. Qualified for use in electrical insulation systems up to Class 220® per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085; CSA Component Acceptance at 220 C. A thinner version of 3M™ CeQUIN Inorganic Insulating Paper designed for use as interwinding insulation in strip-wound coils in dry-type transformers and electromagnet coils. The inorganic content in CeQUIN 3000 papers offers excellent thermal and dielectric stability, as well as high thermal conductivity, long-term voltage endurance, and low moisture absorption. CeQUIN 3000 papers are compatible with commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins, and are easily impregnated, further enhancing thermal conductivity and coil bonding characteristics. This is a CeQUIN product modified with a small percentage of organic fiber reinforcement to provide high-strength, thin paper (74 percent inorganic content vs. 90 percent inorganic with CeQUIN I paper). May be laminated with polyester film or glass fabric to enhance initial dielectric strength or improvide mechanical manageability. 3M™ Innovative Paper Technologies UL Recognized Insulation Systems (File No. 65007) may be found on UL’s Electrical Insulation Systems database at http.//database.ul.com/systems/.
