3M™ CeQUIN II Inorganic Insulating Paper is an inorganic-based paper for high-temperature electrical insulation applications up to Class 220®.

3M™ CeQUIN II Inorganic Insulating Paper is an inorganic-based paper for high-temperature electrical insulating applications. Qualified for use in electrical insulation systems up to Class 220® per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085; CSA Component Acceptance at 220°C. CeQUIN II paper is a thicker version of 3M™ CeQUIN I Inorganic Insulating Paper designed for use as barrier, core wrap, and end-fill insulation applications in dry-type transformers; and spiral-wrapped core tubes. The high inorganic content in CeQUIN II papers (up to 90%) offers excellent thermal and dielectric stability, as well as high thermal conductivity, long-term voltage endurance, and low moisture absorption. CeQUIN II papers are compatible with commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins, and are easily impregnated, further enhancing thermal conductivity and coil bonding characteristics. 3M™ Innovative Paper Technologies UL Recognized Insulation Systems (File No. 65007) may be found on UL’s Electrical Insulation Systems database at http://www.ul.com/eis/ .
