This resin is a two-part, oven-curing, Class F, rigid, filled, Thixotropic, epoxy liquid resin.

3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Resin 252 is a 100% solids thixotropic, rigid, Class F system, which is widely used in dip coating and wet winding applications where physical strength and excellent electrical properties at elevated temperatures are required. Smooth and uniform coatings can be achieved with minimal dripping or runoff during cure. Gel time is 21 min at 121(deg) C.
