3M™ QL2 Shearbolt 2-Hole Mechanical Lug Kit is specially designed to use with 3M Cold Shrink QT-lll Terminations. The lug has a shearbolt design that offers good performance. The friction plate included with the kit helps prevent damage to the conductor, providing greater contact force.
3M™ QL2 Shearbolt 2-Hole Mechanical Lug Kit includes a lug with centering rings, foil tape, a cold shrink sealing tube and an instruction sheet. The lug is used to terminate either aluminum and/or copper conductors. The contact disk on the bolt end avoids damage to the conductor, providing increased contact force. The lug has a tin-plated, aluminum construction for excellent corrosion resistance while tapered ends provide smooth termination body transition from the lug to the cable. IEEE Approved and ANSI C119.1 Requirement.
